Position Requirements
Duties included but not limited to:
Following the instructions of a qualified supervisor -
- Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating including cleaning, sanding, filling holes and/or cracks and removing wallpaper.
- Apply all paint types by paint brush, roller and spray gun to surface.
- Prepare for the painting process by organising paint, equipment and the worksite.
- Use hand and power tools including paint brush, roller and spray gun.
- Handle cleaning materials.
- Clean equipment including spray gun, paint brushes and paint rollers.
- Carry out Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Personal Requirements
- Be physically fit and able to undertake repetitive work.
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Possess a good attitude and work ethic.
- Enjoy practical & manual work.
- Able to be well organised in all aspects of the position requirements.
- Good hand-eye co-ordination.
- Able to work and think independently and in a team environment.
- Able to work accurately & neatly.
- Punctual, energetic and reliable.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Drivers Licence – Preferred
Needs to or willing to obtain a White card
Building & Construction General On-Site Award 2020
