Duties include: 

• Follow OH&S safe working policies and procedures in accordance with company direction. 

• Communicate well in the workplace as well as working effectively with others in the workplace. 

• Identify, handle and use products accurately. 

• Cut and assemble manufactured board products for kitchen and vanity bench tops. 

• Carry out measurements and calculations. 

• Use cabinet making industry hand tools. 

• Set up and operate cabinet making machinery including panel saw and edge bander. 

• Ensure machinery is maintained and operated in a safe manner. 

• Prepare surfaces for finishing then handle finished product with care. 

• Read and interpret work documents. 

• Participate in the onsite installation of kitchen and vanity tops. 

• Participate in general housekeeping and the scheduled cleaning of machinery used. 

• Perform other duties as directed.
