Position Requirements

Under the direction and supervision of those in the workplace the Trainee will be required to:

  • Develop a sound knowledge of stock maintained.
  • Organise and complete daily work activities.
  • Answer phone inquiries.
  • Provide customer service to clients.
  • Pick and process orders.
  • Packages goods.
  • Receive goods.
  • Identify products ans store to specifications.
  • Despatch stock.
  • Participate in stocktake.
  • Carry out delivery operations.
  • Use communication systems to process workplace documentation.
  • Other duties as directed.
  • Be safety conscious.

Personal Requirements

  • Ability to manage, time, prioritise work and allocate resources
  • Display good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Always display good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly, efficiently and politely under pressure.
  • Ability to follow up to ensure all matters are resolved or dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Be punctual at all times and have a good personal presentation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Have a good level of physical fitness.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

·       Require basic skills in verbal and written communication, literacy & numeracy.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Food Handler Certificate
