Position Requirements
Under the direction and supervision of those in the workplace the Trainee will be required to:
- Develop a sound knowledge of stock maintained.
- Organise and complete daily work activities.
- Answer phone inquiries.
- Provide customer service to clients.
- Pick and process orders.
- Packages goods.
- Receive goods.
- Identify products ans store to specifications.
- Despatch stock.
- Participate in stocktake.
- Carry out delivery operations.
- Use communication systems to process workplace documentation.
- Other duties as directed.
- Be safety conscious.
Personal Requirements
- Ability to manage, time, prioritise work and allocate resources
- Display good verbal and written communication skills.
- Always display good customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly, efficiently and politely under pressure.
- Ability to follow up to ensure all matters are resolved or dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Be punctual at all times and have a good personal presentation.
- Attention to detail.
- Have a good level of physical fitness.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
· Require basic skills in verbal and written communication, literacy & numeracy.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Current drivers’ licence
- Food Handler Certificate
